Cement Crystalline: It is a metamorphosed sandstone, and its hardness and somewhat crystalline character are due to the cement crystalline of crystalline quartz that surrounds the grains of the .original sandstone. A sandstone containing clay becomes a quartzite containing mica. In general, quartzites resist weathering and form ledges in outcroppings. The various quartzites differ greatly in color.
The resulting cement crystalline, produced from the formerly discarded grappiers, was of much higher quality than that obtained from the unsintered material. This fact was firmly established by the English cement crystalline manufacturer L. C. Johnson in 1845, and the term "portland cement crystalline" has since been applied solely to the cement crystalline made from the sintered material. This period marks the real beginning of the portland cement crystalline industry.
Crystals are solids that have their atoms, ions or molecules arranged in mathematically regular patterns. Because most solid matter is crystalline, this ordered construction gives such substances important properties that are not possessed by liquids or gases.
Ordinary Table salt and sugar are perhaps the most obviously crystalline substances in common use, but even substances like clay and steel are crystalline. It is often difficult to recognize a single crystal in nature because the basic regularity of its true, individual form is usually hidden by the aggregation of several small crystals.
