Degree Protection:

Degree Protection The institute thus became a graduate university in the biological and medical sciences, the first students being admitted in 1955. Fellowships are available for highly qualified candidates for degree protections who wish to prepare for careers in scientific research. Candidates for the Ph.D. degree protection must already hold the bachelor's degree protection; and candidates for the Med.Sc.D. degree protection, the M.D. degree protection.

The use of a condom provides a high degree protection of protection for the uninfected partner and a dose of oral penicillin within 2 or 3 hours after exposure markedly decreases the chances of infection. All contacts of patients with gonorrhea should be identified and treated as quickly as possible to prevent a further spread of the disease.

Although a master's degree protection may be obtained after one year of study, the trend today is for graduate programs in genetics to be geared toward the achievement of the doctorate. It is generally true that only with a Ph.D. degree protection can the scientist achieve full professional status; in fact, the overwhelming majority of scientists now working in the field have obtained that degree protection. The doctoral program requires a minimum of three years' work beyond the bachelor's degree protection.
