Diversified Topography: A single province encompasses the Bristol-Gloucester district and the Welsh Marches. Including beautiful, fertile country with highly diversified topography, it expresses both of the erogenic trends previously mentioned.
The remaining English province is the peninsula of Devon and Cornwall, where typical uplands, such as Exnioor and Dartmoor, and broad rounded hills contrast with the scarps and dip slopes of Dorset and Hampshire to the east. The coast has magnificent, sometimes grim cliffs.
