Fall 1954:

Fall 1954 You may even change back into dollars whatever francs you have left at the end, but there is little point in doing so, since they are every bit as sound and desirable in all European banks and exchange offices as are dollars. In the fall 1954 of 1954 an earth-shaking announcement was made that gold coins could be had at Swiss banks, but I have not yet had occasion to put this to the test.

Considerable interest has been shown in finger painting (14, 1956; 37, 1954; 93, 1954; 114, 1934). The paints are of the consistency of mud and are smeared on the dampened paper with the fingers, palms, or forearms. They do not stain the children's skin or clothing. This kind of painting encourages children to express their feelings, relieves tensions, and has possible diagnostic and therapeutic value in the hands of trained persons.

The large-flowered clematis are divided into several groups according to their parentage. These groups are Florida, flowering mainly in early and mid-summer; Jackmanii, flowering mainly in late summer and early fall 1954; Lanuginosa, flowering at different times between mid-summer and the early fall 1954; Patens, flowering mainly in early to mid-summer; Texensis, flowering mainly from late summer to mid-fall 1954 and Viticella, also flowering mainly from late summer to mid-fall 1954.
