International Boundaries:

International Boundaries Demarcation lines indicate the boundaries between the 1972 International Rules for the Prevention of Collisions at Sea (termed "72 COLREGS" by the Coast Guard) and the U.S. Inland Rules.

WITH GARDENS a sense of enclosure is important. On small lots the boundaries may be those of the property or even plantings or other pleasant features on a neighbor's property, for when I speak of boundaries I mean not those of the lot but those that limit the view. On larger grounds the boundaries to views may be well within the property lines.

These corridors have been used by prehistoric man, as shown by his campsites, by civilized man on his early migrations, and in invasions and general trade and travel up to the present. The main obstacles to travel for Both man and goods on these corridors today are man made at the international boundaries. If there were no restrictions, one could visit all of the countries of Europe, even the interior nations, by small boat, and the point of entrance could be from the North Sea, the Baltic, the Atlantic, the southern seas, or, in season, the White Sea in the far north.
