Noble Path: The only stable condition is nirvana, an tin-definable state of rest where all desires are last exhausted. One reaches this goal throu^ belief in the basic tenets of Buddhism, calli the Four Noble Truths, and by practicing tlr code of action known as the Eightfold Noble Path.
The arrangement of paving units in a path can subtly affect the speed at which you walk. A uniform grain along the path—for example, that created by bricks laid lengthwise in stretcher bond—can seem to hurry you on, whereas a less directional pattern will encourage a slower pace. The treatment may be chosen to suit the purpose of the path—a "slow" path where there is plenty to admire, a "faster" path where the aim is simply to provide access to another part of the garden.
The Buddha spent the rest of his long life i teaching his new-found philosophy. The ssence of Buddhism is to follow the Noble iightfold Path to Enlightenment, the eight arts being the right view, motive, speech, ction, pursuits, effort, mindfulness, and ontemplation.
