Seed Containers:

Seed Containers When sowing seed containers in containers, use a "sowing' or "seed containers" compost and choose a container large enough to allow the seed containerslings space to develop to the required size.

In many respects, small containers are more difficult to place. Several small containers scattered about do not necessarily make a bold impact and can look fussy. Furthermore, a group of small containers can also be more difficult to maintain. However, they do come into their own when placed around the edges of larger containers to soften their outlines.

More recently, emphasis is being placed on pathological considerations in seed containers testing, and procedures are being developed to test the seed containerss as hosts and carriers of disease organisms. Progress has been made in the standardization of national and international rules for seed containers testing in the interest of uniformity and of world trade. The responsibility for seed containers quality is placed upon the individual or firm which grows and markets the seed containers, but state and federal governments provide the control through special laboratories for seed containers testing.
