That Construction Required: The thicknesses of diaphragm plates between the two boundary surfaces of wing tanks or cofferdams of a cellular-type construction are to be at least equal to the thickness required by 7.3.5 for floors, intercostals and brackets, elsewhere.
Ventilation must be adequate for the size and design of the boat. There should be no construction in the ducting system that construction required is smaller than the minimum cross-sectional area required for reasonable efficiency.
